Join our dynamic team at Forta as a Clinical Compliance Specialist! In this important role, you'll be at the heart of our Quality Assurance (QA), Licensing, Contract, and Credentialing teams, ensuring the highest standards of clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
As a Clinical Specialist, you'll review clinical documentation, manage licensing processes, and assist with credentialing duties while working closely with a dedicated team to support Forta's success. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our clinical services and make a meaningful impact on the organization.
YOUR DAY AT FORTA:
- Prioritize and manage an undetermined capacity of clients for QA reviews, ensuring timely, thorough assessments, and responsive actions to notifications from clinical teams and Client Services Management (CSM).
- Keep meticulous records of daily QA outreach activities, tracking responses and providing regular updates on ongoing tasks to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Oversee the licensing process for Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, and maintain active communication with licensing boards to promptly complete all necessary action items.
- Provide expert knowledge and advice on group contracting and clinician credentialing processes, regulations, and best practices, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to payor contracts.
- Maintain clear and effective communication across internal teams, including clinicians, licensing boards, and management, ensuring responses to notifications are timely and comprehensive.
- Utilize the internal credentialing database to efficiently track the progress of credentialing applications, re-credentialing processes, and the ongoing monitoring of provider credentials.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging issues related to contracting and credentialing
- Serve as a liaison between providers, internal departments, and insurance companies, addressing inquiries, and coordinating necessary documentation
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
- Ability to collaborate closely with a team while taking ownership of tasks and ensuring their completion independently.
- Proficient in working efficiently in fast-paced settings, with flexibility and a willingness to learn new tasks as they arise.
- Excellent soft skills for interacting with clients and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), maintaining a positive and professional experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn and navigate digital platforms, such as Monday.com, to complete tasks related to Quality Assurance & licensing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- This is a part-time role with 20-25 hours per week. Depending on your performance and business needs, you may be offered more hours or a full-time contractor position.
