Job Summary:
We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our team and provide technical support to our employees. The IT Administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues, managing our network infrastructure, and working with our external IT vendor to ensure our IT systems are up-to-date and working properly. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of information technology, including hardware, software, and networking.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an in-office presence to provide timely IT support.
- Communicate regularly with our third-party IT vendor to address IT-related matters and resolve technical issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues reported by users.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings.
- Ensure the availability of network resources and services by monitoring network performance and security.
- Install and configure network hardware, such as routers and switches.
- Monitor system performance and security logs.
- Train users on new hardware and software.
- Research and recommend new IT technologies and solutions.
- Work with vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Perform IT Administration functions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education required: Associate degree in computer science or related field.
- Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Required minimum experience: 1-3 years of experience working in IT.
- Proficient in Windows; familiarity with Linux, and Mac.
- Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with network hardware, such as routers and switches.
- Excellent problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Versatility, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- RMA Office hours are 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM / Monday – Friday.
