Job Summary:


We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our team and provide technical support to our employees. The IT Administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues, managing our network infrastructure, and working with our external IT vendor to ensure our IT systems are up-to-date and working properly. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of information technology, including hardware, software, and networking.

Responsibilities:


  • Maintain an in-office presence to provide timely IT support.
  • Communicate regularly with our third-party IT vendor to address IT-related matters and resolve technical issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues reported by users.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings.
  • Ensure the availability of network resources and services by monitoring network performance and security.
  • Install and configure network hardware, such as routers and switches.
  • Monitor system performance and security logs.
  • Train users on new hardware and software.
  • Research and recommend new IT technologies and solutions.
  • Work with vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform IT Administration functions.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum education required: Associate degree in computer science or related field.
  • Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Required minimum experience: 1-3 years of experience working in IT.
  • Proficient in Windows; familiarity with Linux, and Mac.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with network hardware, such as routers and switches.
  • Excellent problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • RMA Office hours are 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM / Monday – Friday.
