Events Account Manager

Live events are back, and we are busier than ever! We are looking for an Account Manager to manage various assignments on the events side of the business.  This position would report directly to the Sr. Manager-Tradeshow & Activations. Position can be done remotely but must be available to travel.Salary is $80,000-85,000

What You Will Do: 


  • Participate in setting annual and pre-show budgets, managing budgets and completing post-show reconciliation.  Including financial metrics and post-show reports.
  • Timeline and milestone management for project cycle
  • Communicate with clients on status of deliverables and shifting timelines
  • Set client and any necessary internal team meetings as necessary
  • Create and update team agendas for client and internal calls.        Sending a meeting recap and pertinent actions items post call.
  • Manage labor services fulfillment, including providing installation and dismantle estimates
  • Manage the graphic production process, including communicating graphic needs with design team, facilitating graphic approvals with clients, tracking graphic progress and shipping
  • Create inbound and outbound shipping lists and coordinate with the operations team on inventory management
  • Order show services and coordinate with third-party partners
  • Cross functional support to ensure projects are meeting deadlines/expected deliverables. 
  • Build strong client relationships through excellent customer service
  • Enhance communication among all parties involved in the event install and dismantle
  • Travel to key shows to offer on-site support
  • Other duties as assigned

 Who You Are:


  • 3+ years of event industry experience
  • Ability to travel to support programs onsite
  • A strong team player
  • Like to learn and be able to take on new challenges
  • Superior project coordination skills and attention to detail; expert time management skills with ability to quickly and gracefully adapt to a rapidly changing environment and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to manage large and complex budgets along with a solid understanding of basic accounting concepts, such as revenue, direct costs and margin
  • Able to proactively work with new technology tools to figure out how to best apply it to current processes and procedures 
  • Ability to solve problems with a creative, flexible, and resourceful approach
  • Ability to think big picture as information is provided to ensure communications are as efficient as possible
  • Active listener who can pick up on underlying deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist colleagues with projects and tasks outside of specific job requirements
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce effective presentations and business copy; ability to effectively communicate across all levels and stakeholders of the project team
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, business, or other related discipline
