Role Overview:


As the Community Engagement and Ops Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing RevGenius’ community experience. You’ll be at the intersection of community management, operations, and strategy. You will work directly with our members, nurturing relationships, fostering meaningful connections, and ensuring the community remains dynamic, collaborative, and engaged. Additionally, you’ll help optimize the operational processes behind the scenes to ensure smooth execution of community initiatives.You’ll be part of a creative, passionate team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and taking action.

Key Responsibilities:


Community Engagement:


  • Build and nurture relationships with community members, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with community members, answering questions, sharing resources, and encouraging active participation.
  • Drive community engagement by developing and executing community-driven initiatives (e.g., challenges, events, Q&A sessions, and collaborative projects).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content that resonates with RevGenius members and encourages conversation and sharing.

Content Strategy & Creation:


  • Develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement, including newsletters, blogs, podcasts, and event-based content.
  • Curate and repurpose content from the community, highlighting success stories, case studies, and valuable insights.
  • Collaborate with members and thought leaders to create educational, relevant, and inspiring content that contributes to the community’s growth.

Event Management:


  • Plan and manage virtual and in-person events for the community, including webinars, workshops, networking events, and collaborative brainstorming sessions.
  • Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, promotions, speaker coordination, and attendee engagement.
  • Collect feedback after each event to improve future events and community engagement strategies.

Operations & Process Optimization:


  • Implement and maintain streamlined operational processes for managing community growth, engagement, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Community Ops to track key performance metrics (KPIs) for community growth and engagement.
  • Oversee member onboarding and ensure members have the resources they need to get the most out of the community.
  • Utilize tools and platforms (e.g., Slack, social media, event platforms, and CRM systems) to manage and scale community engagement efficiently.

Collaboration and Support:


  • Work closely with RevGenius leaders and other teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, etc.) to ensure alignment between community initiatives and broader business goals.
  • Be the voice of the community, gathering insights from members to help inform product and service offerings.
  • Engage with influencers and key community members to amplify RevGenius’ impact and growth.

Qualifications:


Experience:


  • 3+ years in community management, operations, or a related role.
  • Experience building, managing, or growing online communities in the B2B space is a major plus.
  • Strong understanding of RevOps, sales, or marketing in SaaS or other revenue-generating industries.

Skills:


  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—you can connect with people at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives at once.
  • Ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with community platforms (Slack, Discord, etc.), event management tools (Zoom, Eventbrite, etc.), and CRM systems.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to measure and improve community engagement and growth.
