DSQ Technology, a leading independent software company, is seeking a Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for identifying and establishing contact with potential customers, qualifying leads, and closing sales opportunities for DSQ Technology products. The role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to quickly build rapport and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners in the waste and multi-family industry. This role is fully remote and prefer EST or CST time zones. DSQ provides a base salary with an aggressive commission structure. DSQ Technology provides innovative solutions for the waste and recycling industry.

We have a team of over 30 employees across the USA who are passionate about our vision of a world where business leaders can confidently make informed decisions using real time data.Key Responsibilities· Identify and engage potential customers through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, and social media, to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.· Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer pain points, objectives, and goals. · Clearly articulate the value and benefits of our SAAS platform, tailoring presentations and demonstrations to meet customer needs.
· Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by converting qualified leads into paying customers.· Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for DSQ Technologies products, including Pioneer compactor monitoring, Tilt service verification sensors, Discovery invoice automation and analysis, and Hauler software services.· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners in the waste and multi-family industry.· Operate independently from a home office, managing time and resources effectively.· Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging, gather feedback, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.· Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and SaaS best practices to position our product effectively.· Accurately log activities, track customer interactions, set follow-up actions, and manage sales pipeline using CRM.Qualifications· Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the technology or technology enabled services industry.· Strong understanding of sales principles and practices.· Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.· Ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.· Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.Preferred Skills· Experience in the waste management, recycling, or multi-family industry.· Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners.· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. · Entrepreneurial mindset
