Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivatedLeasing Agent to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leasing residential units across multiple locations, ensuring high occupancy rates, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents. This position requires strong sales skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing & Sales:
- Proactively respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and walk-ins.
- Conduct property tours, showcasing key features and amenities to potential renters.
- Follow up with leads consistently to maximize leasing opportunities.
- Process rental applications, verify applicant information, and prepare lease agreements.
- Consistently meet or exceed leasing goals to maintain high occupancy rates.
Customer Service & Resident Relations:
- Provide prospective and current residents with outstanding customer service.
- Address resident concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts.
Marketing & Outreach:
- Help develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
- Maintain and update online listings with accurate property information.
- Participate in community events and networking opportunities to promote available units.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate leasing records and update property management software.
- Organize and track rental applications, lease agreements, and compliance documents.
- Collect and process security deposits and rent payments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
Property Management Support:
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with a keen eye for detail.
- Report maintenance requests and follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure model units and common areas are well-maintained and presentable.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Highly organized and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
- Highly profluent in AppFolio
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel between multiple properties as needed.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and leasing best practices.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as required.
