The scalability of its products allows merchants of all sizes to add an instant arsenal of intelligent payment technology solutions to their businesses without significant development costs or infrastructure investments.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst with expertise in Information Technology and an emphasis on Vulnerability Management. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with vulnerability management solutions, cloud and hybrid environments, and IT systems. Reporting directly to the Director of Information Security, this position plays a key role in identifying, assessing, and assisting in mitigation of security vulnerabilities across our organization's IT infrastructure and be.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Vulnerability Management


  • Configure and conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments using vulnerability management solutions
  • Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk
  • Develop and implement remediation strategies
  • Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and engineering teams to patch and resolve security issues
  • Maintain vulnerability dashboards
  • Process approved security exceptions for impacted vulnerabilities
  • Monitor and report on vulnerability trends and metrics
  • Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices and identify impact to the organization
  • Monitor for compliance with company standards and policies in regard to vulnerability remediation
  • Define and document standard operating procedures for the vulnerability management program

Incident Response


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support for incident response procedures
  • Assist with monitoring and response of security threats and alerts

REQUIREMENTS


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; or a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on vulnerability management preferred
  • Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools and techniques
  • Strong understanding of IT system software, hardware, network protocols and common security vulnerabilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, GIAC) are a plus
  • Exceptional project management skills

Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency with vulnerability scanning solutions (e.g., Nessus, CrowdStrike, Qualys)
  • Knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure
  • Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
  • Familiarity with web application security and secure coding practices
  • Experience with patch management processes
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Understanding of common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS)
  • Experience with SIEM tools and log analysis is a plus
  • Familiarity with anti-malware or endpoint detection and response technologies is a plus
  • Understanding of cloud security concepts
  • Familiarity with penetration testing techniques
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA)
  • Experience with ticketing and tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
