We have a financially healthy business, plenty of capital, and big ambitions to grow our business and team.

We're looking for an associate to join our Growth Team —someone who knows their way around a marketing tech stack, can convey a compelling message, and executes at the highest level.

Who Are You?

You’re a relentlessly driven marketer who’s passionate about helping the team create campaigns that drive continuous growth and can help build and execute battle-tested strategies and tactics that attract, convert, and retain subscribers. You’re a “full funnel” practitioner—you love figuring out ways to bring in new audiences, but you also have deep experience with CRM, CDP, and other marketing platforms.

  • Manage user acquisition and retention use cases executed through our customer data platform, BlueConic.
  • Work with the Growth, Product and Engineering teams to define new experiments and tactics for continuous conversion-rate optimization.
  • Create, build, and report on marketing efforts for the Growth, Brand Partnerships, and Events teams.
  • Collaborate with editorial leadership to figure out how to build deeper relationships with readers and subscribers

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a consumer-focused marketing role
  • Deep familiarity with marketing technology, including Customer.IO, BlueConic, Periscope and others
  • Experience with (and a passion for) using data to drive analysis, ideas, and decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting quality benchmarks and executional excellence in digital campaign production
  • A highly entrepreneurial mindset—we’re a small but incredibly ambitious team
  • A penchant for collaboration, and a generous approach toward working with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders

Benefits:

  • Company-paid medical, dental and vision coverage for employees and their dependents
  • Basic life insurance
  • Generous paid leave that increases over time
  • A parental leave policy for new parents
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible Spending Account
  • Commuter benefits
  • A fitness and wellness stipend
  • A highly professional, inclusive, diverse workplace with a zero-tolerance policy for harassment
