About the role
We are seeking a collaborative and experienced
Product Marketing Manager
to help build understanding and drive adoption of our compensation technology solutions. This is a highly visible role with cross-functional responsibilities including significant overlap with customer success, product, and sales. If you’re curious, driven, and ready to take on the challenge of being the first dedicated product marketer at a fast-growing startup, this might be the role for you.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies and campaigns, including positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis
- Lead quarterly customer-focused product roadmap webinars in collaboration with Product Management, Customer Success, and C-suite
- Develop deep understanding of our users and audience to align product messaging and value propositions with their needs
- Create product-specific content to support the full buyer journey
- Lead product launches from planning to execution, coordinating with sales, marketing, product, customer success, and other teams as appropriate
- Conduct customer and user research in collaboration with product management and customer success to capture insights and uncover opportunities
- Own user and platform communications (e.g., planned downtime, feature updates, etc.)
What you bring:
- 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or software, including:
- Demonstrated experience bringing new products and features to market from launch planning through execution and measurement
- Experience marketing innovative solutions to a niche audience
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration, including working with product management, sales, and customer success
- Ability to translate technical features into customer value propositions that resonate with key audiences
- Proven strategic problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguity to deliver results
- Exceptional storytelling with the ability to combine customer needs and value propositions into compelling narratives
- Creative and analytical, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and create unique experiences that showcase product value
- Bonus: Background working in HRTech or at fast-growing startups
