About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will take on leadership responsibilities in designing, developing, and optimizing complex systems and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and guidance while mentoring junior engineers. Your deep knowledge in backend software development will be crucial in driving innovation, setting technical direction, and solving critical challenges. You will also contribute to strategic planning, ensuring best practices, and maintaining high-quality standards across projects.

What You'll Do


  • Lead and drive the technical direction of engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize systems.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical teams.
  • Solve complex technical challenges and ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and technical decision-making.
  • Advocate for best practices, ensuring efficient processes and continuous improvement.

Compensation


Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The U.S. pay range for this position is $232,000-$290,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
