WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🌟


As our Revenue & Cost Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records related to revenue and costs. You’ll ensure compliance with accounting standards, collaborate across teams, and uphold the financial integrity necessary for business growth. Your insights will directly impact how we manage and report revenue streams and operational costs, aligning with our broader financial strategy.Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀


Revenue Accounting & Recognition


  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Monitor contract terms, billing cycles, and deferred revenue to ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Analyze sales transactions and customer agreements to determine the correct revenue recognition, verifying invoices and nota fiscals.
  • Reconcile revenue accounts and investigate discrepancies.

Cost Accounting & Control


  • Track cost structures and ensure proper allocation of direct and indirect costs.
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation across departments, projects, and business units, complying with IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy.

Financial Reporting & Analysis


  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue & cost reports.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes to align with company goals.
  • Analyze profitability by product, service, or business unit.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.

Internal Controls & Compliance


  • Support external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Monitor tax implications related to revenue and cost structures.

Ad Hoc Analysis


  • Conduct financial analysis as needed to support business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience in revenue and cost accounting, preferably in a tech or SaaS company, with exposure to international financial reporting standards.

Skills & Competencies


  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and cost accounting methodologies.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dominio) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and gather financial data from various teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
