Help us change the world and we will help you change yours.We are seeking a Process Development Engineer who will work on the development of new resin products and troubleshoot current products for our 3D printing platform. The candidate will work with a cross functional team including various parts of the Resin Development team and Resin Operations. Materials are at the core of what we do, and you will be a part of the team that turns material ideas into products. Our materials are used for applications such as prototyping, dental, biomedical, automotive, aerospace, footwear, sports equipment, and many more.

You will…


  • Run reactors in-house to supply key component for formulation development
  • Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for synthesis and blending that can be scaled-up at suppliers/partners
  • Draft first set of manufacturing instructions for our suppliers/partners
  • Establishing safety procedures for working with chemicals
  • Designing and planning equipment selection and layout
  • Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance 
  • Visit suppliers/partners to ensure success of scaled-up
  • Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes

You have…


  • A BS background in chemical engineering, chemistry or materials science a minimum.
  • Motivation and passion and can work collaboratively with excellent communication skills in a dynamic team.
  • 4+ years industrial experience especially in process development for polymer synthesis reactions preferred
  • Hands on experience for running chemical reactions especially polymer synthesis.
  • Resin formulation experience a plus
  • Experience working with toll manufacturers for high volume production of resins and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Extended knowledge of PFMEA and process capability study
  • Strong analytical skills with good data tracking and presentation ability. 
  • Safety conscious individual who actively promotes safe behavior in the department and takes responsibility for safe lab operations

The Bay Area, CA compensation bracket for this position is $132,800 - $199,200 per year.
