Zinnia has over $180 billion in assets under administration, serves 100+ carrier clients, 2500 distributors and partners, and over 2 million policyholders.WHO YOU ARE:As an Infrastructure Engineer I, you will be responsible for implementing and managing monitoring tools and systems to ensure the health and performance of our critical infrastructure components, servers, networks, and applications.

Your role will involve configuring and maintaining monitoring alerts and notifications to promptly respond to potential incidents and outages, as well as collaborating with the IT operations team to establish and refine monitoring standards and best practices.WHAT YOU’LL DO:• Implement and manage IT monitoring tools and systems to monitor the health and performance of servers, networks, applications, and other critical infrastructure components.• Configure and maintain monitoring alerts and notifications to promptly respond to potential incidents and outages.• Collaborate with the IT operations team to establish and refine monitoring standards and best practices.• Analyze monitoring data and trends to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization.• Conduct regular health checks and audits of monitoring systems to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.• Develop and maintain documentation related to monitoring processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for monitoring-related issues.• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement monitoring solutions for new projects and initiatives.• Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance the monitoring infrastructure.• Identify opportunities to automate monitoring tasks and contribute to the overall automation strategy.WHAT YOU’LL NEED:• Proven experience of 5-8 years as an IT Monitoring Engineer or in a similar role in a large-scale IT environment.• In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, or similar.

Experience with Lansweeper and Axonius is a plus.• Strong understanding of network protocols, server and application monitoring, and log analysis.• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Datadog Certified Professional, Lansweeper Certified Expert, or any other monitoring tool certifications are a plus.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?We’re looking for the best and brightest innovators in the industry to join our team.
