Scope & Conduct Research


Scope, plan, and execute UX research projects using both established and creative methods.Align on research questions and frameworks with your stakeholders and a Research Operations Manager.Empower others to conduct or observe research, fostering a collaborative environment where insights are shared in real-time.

Evolve Our Persona Framework


Synthesize existing knowledge and new discoveries to enrich personas, journey maps, and other user-centric artifacts.Partner with researchers, product managers, marketers, and data analysts to continuously refine and govern the persona framework.

Share Compelling Insights


Communicate findings to both immediate stakeholders and the wider organization, striking the right balance between in-depth analysis and fast, actionable insights.Leverage diverse channels (e.g., Slack, internal demos) to ensure evergreen visibility of critical research outcomes.

Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration


Collaborate with product analysts, product marketing managers, designers, product managers, and engineers to generate well-rounded insights.Build solid relationships across the organization, championing a user-first mindset that drives our product strategies.

Shape & Scale Research Practice


Contribute to the continuous improvement of research operations, from developing templates and interview guides to establishing universal tagging structures.Mentor less-experienced researchers, sharing best practices and introducing innovative methods for gathering and synthesizing data.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE 🎯Thick Insights: Your research directly influences product roadmaps, guiding features and improvements that resonate with our customers.Robust Persona Framework: Personas (and related artifacts) remain relevant and widely adopted across the organization—product teams truly "speak the same language" about our customers.Collaborative Culture: Cross-functional teams look to you for guidance on user research, actively participating in and championing research activities.Visible Impact: Your findings reach a broad audience through multiple channels, ensuring that user perspectives become central to business decisions.Growing Research Maturity: Tools, processes, and best practices are continually evolving, teammates see you as a mentor and partner in raising the bar for UX research.WHAT YOU'LL BRING 💥7+ Years of Experience in user experience research—ideally at software-focused companies—plus a degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Sciences, or a related field.Generative & Co-Creative Methods: Proven track record running workshops, field studies, and explorations that lead to powerful, inspirational user insights.Mixed-Methods Expertise: Comfort with both qualitative and quantitative research, integrating data from multiple sources to form robust conclusions.Compelling Artifacts: Experience crafting persona documents, journey maps, and other outputs that bring complex user stories to life—especially in multi-profile or complex environments.Product Impact: You've shipped products that were informed by research, ensuring that user-centric thinking guides end-to-end product development.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Adept at partnering with product management, design, data, marketing, and engineering teams, always advocating for user insights.Communication & Evangelism: Skilled at presenting findings to wide audiences, making research feel accessible and actionable to all levels of the organization.
