Our infrastructure supports millions of SMBs and is embedded in some of the most innovative fintech and banking products on the market today.We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to own renewals and expansion for Rutter’s most strategic fintech and banking customers. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, increasing customer retention, and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with C-suite, risk, product, and engineering leaders to deepen partnerships and ensure customers get the most value from Rutter’s API.

Responsibilities


  • Own the full post-sales lifecycle for fintech, neobank, and bank customers, ensuring strong retention and account expansion.
  • Manage renewals end-to-end, driving contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and customer alignment.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating with product and sales teams to expand usage of Rutter’s API.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders, influencing product roadmaps and integration strategies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts, tracking renewals, expansion pipeline, and overall account health.
  • Work closely with the GTM, product, and engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and provide insights into market trends.
  • Structure complex commercial agreements, ensuring seamless legal and compliance discussions to accelerate deal cycles.
  • Act as a strategic partner to customers, helping them leverage financial data—accounting, banking, commerce—to improve underwriting, payments automation, and financial workflows.

Requirements


  • 3+ years in a customer-facing, quota-carrying role in B2B SaaS, fintech, or API sales (Account Management, Customer Success, or Renewals).
  • Proven track record of managing renewals and driving account expansion, ideally within fintech infrastructure, lending, or payments.
  • Strong understanding of financial data and embedded finance—experience working with risk, credit, product, or engineering teams is a plus.
  • Ability to forecast renewals and expansion revenue accurately, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience navigating complex deal cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Must be based in NYC and work in person at our Flatiron, Manhattan office.
