Senior Product Manag
er will play a pivotal role in the strategic direction, management, execution and end to end business success for customer onboarding.We are looking for a creative, passionate, technical, hands-on and experienced product manager. The successful candidate will be the product lead for select customer activities, roadmap creation, product requirements definition, and interfacing with the engineering team. The successful candidate will bring a disciplined, business-oriented approach to product planning, position, placement and promotions.The Senior Product Manager reports directly to the Director Government Solutions and Strategy and works closely with the segment management team by providing input to the segment strategy and business plans/budgets, proposals and the execution of agreed management plans/priorities.
This position will require travel on a regular basis (minimally quarterly).

How you will make an impact:
- Lead product management in the development of the product roadmap, product definition and product release.
- Interact globally with customers, partners and analysts to communicate functionality and product direction/future.
- Prime interface to ensure product and market requirements are implemented, as per budget and plan.
- This role works closely with the Director, Engineering & Development and can be a lead for ensuring the delivery of select projects that involve the core products with lead clients (i.e. early pilot implementations).
- Coordinates with Director, Engineering & Development for the input into the Product Review Board and any preparatory working level meetings.
- Works closely with the Director, Product Marketing to provide input into and support Marketing plans and events.
- Contributing to proposals from a product perspective and in tandem with software engineering for estimates and technical approach.
- Consolidate, prioritize and document product and customization requirements (including research, selection and implementation of automated tools to work collaboratively across analysis of requirements and quality assurance) and contribute to Agile backlog prioritization for product development (with business analysts)
- Prepare and consolidate the product roadmaps and work with the Director Engineering & Delivery or direct reports to prepare product release plans.
- Understand User Personas and Use Case Scenarios for the product and customizations directly or via subordinate staff.
- Presentation input or coordination and preparation of demo support directly to prospective customers, for events and for/with partners and field sales.
- Contribute to customer acquisition including key proposal support and strategic programs participation (e.g. Canadian Safety & Security Program).
- Contribute to/editing white papers, case studies and reference projects.
- Supporting partner activities, key events/conferences as needed, conduct demos.
- Represents the company at events or conferences and international organizations such as IATA IBMATA, Biometrics Institute, NIST or others.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, technical or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 7 years of software product management experience
- Strong technical aptitude
- Superior communication skills
- Experience developing product strategy and completing tactical plans to support strategy
- Experience defining and launching excellent and successful products
- Experience building high-performance, scalable, mission-critical applications
- Ability to prioritize wisely, keep deadlines, and take responsibility
- Strong collaboration skills
- Success creating and executing diverse go-to-market plans and roadmaps
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Identity Verification markets and technology
- Knowledge in the financial & banking and/or government citizen services markets
