The elevator pitch… 


This role is at the center of the financial machine that fuels one of the world’s biggest markets - residential mortgage. Tomo Capital Markets is looking for a director to build an industry-leading monetization engine to fuel Tomo’s growth.  Our decisions in pricing, loan product creation, and investor relations directly affect home affordability and accessibility as we chase down the holy grail of “If it weren’t for Tomo, I wouldn’t own a home.”  This role has massive growth potential, reporting directly to our SVP of Financial ProductsThis role will work out of our  New York office Monday-Wednesday and is remote optional Thursday & Friday.

The things you’ll be doing…


  • Serve as the expert in the company for pricing and revenue management
  • Work closely as subject matter expert  with our Product and Engineering teams to build our pricing intelligence function and transition from a legacy technology stack to a one that can best express Tomo’s pricing rules. 
  • Oversee, and potentially manage a team of pricing analysts
  • Execute whole loan trades and analyze trading outcomes to find additional pockets of alpha for Tomo; implement those in our sales and marketing strategy.
  • Accurately distribute our loan pricing to customers and loan officers.
  • Develop and manage a subset of Tomo’s marketing channels.
  • Find new business opportunities - you may be asked to start a new division within Tomo.

  • The ability to see risks around corners. Some call it awareness, some call it a healthy sense of paranoia. Your actions have direct financial implications.
  • A hunger to attack new revenue opportunities which we call having a commercial mindset. 
  • Willingness to take on new projects and get your hands dirty. We are a young company and you will have limited analyst support. 
  • 5-8 yrs experience
  • Strong communicator confident to use your voice with execs, engineers  and sales people 

You may also have the extras…


  • Comfort working in a technical environment, can understand a codebase. SQL and/or Python experience preferred
  • Finance background with an interest in Engineering, or vice versa

The expected annual compensation for this position will be between $175,000 - $225,000USD
