Job Description
We are looking for a full time Recruiter that will be based out of our Seattle facility. This individual will be responsible for recruiting talent for a collection of several companies in the same industry across the US. They will also ensure that the candidates and hiring managers all have positive experience throughout the recruiting process.
Essential Responsibilities
- Source and review resumes, interview top talented candidates for presentation to hiring managers using job boards, internal ATS and possibly search firms and/or other sourcing methods.
- Work as the liaison between candidates, hiring managers and human resources staff.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to guide and drive the recruiting process.
- Consistent, persistent and active follow up with candidates to create a great experience.
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends - be an expert in recruiting functions and share best practices.
- Embrace technology, integrate strategic thinking and offer perspective regarding recruitment needs.
- Maintain a strong network and a consistent talent pool of candidates.
- Assist HR with onboarding/offboarding process.
- Other HR duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
- 2+ years of experience working in a recruiting role, familiarity with aerospace/aircraft personnel is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter with outgoing phone personality.
- Detail oriented, highly organized, with strong analytical reasoning required.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Manage several recruiting projects with competing priorities, deadlines, scheduling demands and hiring managers.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required, with an emphasis on MS Excel and Teams.
- Must have excellent customer service, follow-up and communication skills, both oral and written.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Education
- High school Diploma
- Associate degree or higher preferred in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
- SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
