At the same time, providers are underutilized, and only 30% of Therapists accept insurance.
UpLift acts as the bridge between patient, provider and insurer, empowering patients to find the best care for their needs at a price they can afford.About The JobAs a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at UpLift, you will work hand-in-hand with our network of licensed therapists to deliver world-class, evidence-based mental healthcare. As a provider within our virtual group practice, we will credential and enroll you with numerous health plans in order to scale affordable care to patients using their health insurance. This role is 100% remote and all care is delivered via UpLift’s purpose-built telemedicine platform.
This is a part-time, 1099 contract role and will be expected to work 10-20 hours per week.Responsibilities
- Through telemedicine, conduct video consultations and message with patients, including assessing, screening, diagnosing and prescribing medication for patients as necessary
- Provide psychiatric services to individuals who otherwise may not have access to care
- Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with UpLift’s network of licensed therapists
- Adhere to UpLift’s platform guidelines and policies and complete all required training
- Provide unparalleled clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic
care on the platform - Provider software and operational feedback to UpLift’s in-house engineering and operational
teams to improve products, workflows and care delivery
Relevant Experience
- Board eligible or certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP)
- License in good standing in Oklahoma
- Comfortable prescribing medication when clinically appropriate
- Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
- Previous telemedicine experience is a plus
- Fluent in additional languages is a plus
- Multiple state licenses is a strong plus
