About the Role


Leadership Connect is seeking an Event Coordinator to support our event initiatives. This role will play a key part in driving engagement through both virtual and in-person events, including webinars, strategic dinners, and external industry events. The Event Coordinator will collaborate across marketing, sales, and executive teams to ensure seamless event execution, enhance audience development, and strengthen client relationships. This role requires strong organizational and project management skills, creativity, and a strategic mindset to maximize the impact of our events.

Meet the Events Team


Leadership Connect has over 40,000 users, and given our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an Events Coordinator to assist our Director of Events in developing the company’s Events Team. While the department is growing, its impact is large as the Events Team works closely with every team in the company, fostering company-wide communication and collaboration that inspire impactful events for our clients and users.

Core Functions of the Role:


  • Virtual and Digital Events
  • Plan and execute webinars, ensuring alignment with business goals and audience engagement strategies.
  • Manage webinar logistics, including speaker outreach, technical setup, and hosting/moderation.
  • Define pre- and post-event objectives and track engagement metrics to optimize future events.
  • Research and develop digital event topics that expand our company’s thought leadership.
  • Leverage data insights to drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and audience growth.
  • Strategic Dinners & In-Person Events
  • Design and coordinate private dinner events that foster client and prospect relationships.
  • Handle venue selection, catering coordination, and guest list management with a 50/50 client-to-prospect ratio.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Front Office teams to ensure targeted participation and lead follow-ups.
  • Track and document prospect engagement through Salesforce to measure event impact.
  • External Event Management
  • Identify and prioritize key industry events aligned with business development and branding objectives.
  • Manage event participation strategy, including attendee coordination and briefing preparation.
  • Maintain a detailed event calendar to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Provide reviews of event participation, including numerical insights on engagement and opportunities generated.
  • Oversee ticket management, event briefings, and coordination of external sponsorships or partnerships.
  • Marketing and Content Collaboration
  • Work with the Director of Events to create event-related marketing materials, social media posts, and promotional content.
  • Prepare after-event reports and collateral for website updates and post-event campaigns.
  • Analyze event success and integrate feedback into future planning.

About You:


  • 1-3 years of experience in event planning, specifically in virtual and in-person events.
  • Strong knowledge of webinar tools such as Zoom or other virtual event platforms.
  • Experience leading or organizing digital events and audience engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Confluence, Clickup, or equivalent systems.
  • Experience using Canva for event marketing and promotional materials.
  • Must be a people-person with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus.
  • Interest in the Public Sector is preferred.
