Your Mission

As Operations Manager, you’ll be at the core of this transformation, ensuring our ventures achieve their ambitious goals whilst operating smoothly. You won’t just be refining processes - you’ll be crafting the infrastructure that powers the next generation of disruptive businesses.
You’ll work with enterprising leaders, applying operational expertise to solve complex challenges, optimize workflows, and create systems that allow our ventures to thrive.This role offers the opportunity to help build ventures from initial concept through to Series A and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work with a huge variety of start-ups and apply and develop yourself across multiple industries. Areas for Impact:
- Building Start-Ups! – Work directly with emerging businesses, establishing strong operational foundations that set them up for long-term success.
- Optimise Operational Effectiveness – Identify opportunities and risks across our entire venture ecosystem, conducting root-cause analyses to drive informed, strategic actions that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Equip Leaders with Strategic Insights – Partner with senior leadership and their teams to provide the tools, data, and resources they need to make high-impact decisions and drive venture success.
- Design Processes for Growth – Design and implement frictionless workflows that empower teams to focus on their strengths, reducing operational bottlenecks and accelerating execution.
- Oversee & Optimise Resource Billing – Manage and refine the resource billing model across the entire ecosystem, ensuring seamless data processing, accuracy, and efficiency while promoting financial transparency.
- Drive Performance & Reporting Excellence – Track and refine key performance measures (OKRs, KPIs), managing reporting dashboards that deliver critical insights to the right stakeholders at the right time.
- Manage Co-Development Partnerships – Oversee and grow partnerships to ensure smooth collaboration, contract adherence, and effective cross-stakeholder communication, enabling seamless execution across multiple ventures.
What we’re looking for:
- Operations Expertise – Experience in Operations Management, particularly in Business Planning, Internal Comms, and Change Management.
- Project & Resource Management – Proven background in project management, with hands-on experience using project and resource management tools. Bonus points if you’ve built insight dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
- Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments – Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting gears quickly without losing focus. You thrive in high-growth, dynamic settings where ambiguity is the norm.
- Independence & Initiative – You operate with a high degree of autonomy, proactively tackling workstreams with minimal guidance, proactively anticipating challenges.
- Data Fluency & Tech Proficiency – Skilled in Google Sheets (or Excel) for managing and analyzing large datasets. With experience in (or a quick ability to learn) tools like Kantata, Jira, HubSpot, Confluence, and Notion.
- Exceptional Communication & Influence – Ability to build alignment and drive change across an organisation, from individual contributors to senior leadership.
- Industry Experience – A background in one or more of the following:
- Games Development Studio or Outsourcer
- Software Development (SaaS/PaaS preferred)
- Service organisation with internal or external clients
- Rapidly scaling start-up
