Technical Program Manager, Automotive

This role requires expertise in Automotive and in strong program management skills to successfully drive these complex projects to completion.This role is

Hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:


  • End to end Technical Program Manager for Tenstorrent’s automotive segment of product
  • Creates, tracks, and drives integrated automotive products program plan (Scope, Schedule, Metrics, Risks); identifying and driving resolution of roadblocks along the way
  • Assesses and highlights risks, develops mitigation plans with stakeholders, and relentlessly drives resolution
  • Ensures strong cross-functional communication (through effective meetings, email, and other means) to ensure cross team alignment
  • Creates executive level reports and presentations as required to support internal and external program reviews
  • Drive continuous improvement

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Engineering field (EE, ME preferred) or related technical degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years working in a product design and/or validation role, with an additional 3+ years in a project lead or technical program manager (TPM) role.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in Automotive Program Management
  • Strong understanding of Automotive Standards and Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to influence, motivate, mentor, and lead team resources.
  • Ability to prioritize and solve complex problems and implement solutions with available resources.
  • Excellent organizational, reasoning, planning, and motivational skills.
  • Self-starter; self-motivator; willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Experience working with hardware, firmware, validation and NPI manufacturing engineering teams, and external suppliers, utilizing structured product development processes (PDP).

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets.
