Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role and about You:


In this role, you will collaborate with and provide support to the global accounting team by ensuring that invoices and payments are efficiently, timely, and accurately processed. You will leverage the existing Accounts Payable (AP) automation tool, which scans invoice email attachments and uploads them to our NetSuite ERP system. This process minimizes manual data entry so that you can focus on more value-added tasks. You will build relationships with employees across the company in order to obtain bill approvals, trouble-shoot issues, and ensure adherence to budget classifications.

What you’ll do:


  • Ensure that all information, including cost center and GL coding are accurate for invoices in AP automation tool.
  • Ensure all invoices in the AP automation tool are captured, routed, and matched properly. 
  • Work with AP supervisor to review AP aging, complete action items, and draft manual payments as needed.
  • Inquire with business partners about missing invoices, pending approvals, and action items related to Purchase Orders.
  • Process employee expense reimbursement requests in Expensify.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and professional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure 3-way matching for Purchase Orders, coordinate with other departments to address variances as needed.

  • At least 1 year experience as an accounts payable bill processor
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to build relationships with cross-functional business partners
  • Strong critical thinking skills

  • NetSuite experience
  • Expensify experience
  • Purchase Order and 3-way matching experience

The pay range for this position ranges between $18.00 to $27.40 per hour. The base pay range will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
