- A passion for QA, testing and increasing product quality
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology (acceptance tests, performance test, etc) and tools
- Experience with analyzing both functional and non-functional requirements and attributes of a system at every stage of the product life cycle
- Experience with exploratory testing and being able to test with and without test cases
- Familiarity with the tools that agile development and QA teams use for managing their work (Jira or similar tools)
- Familiarity with automated testing or the creation of tools to assist in testing.
- Ability to work closely with cross functional teams at all levels of the organization
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Post-secondary education in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related field
- Nice to have: Proficiency with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, etc
- Nice to have: Experience with object oriented languages
