Key Outputs
• A Technical Expert evaluating and processing all types of warranty claims against supplier warranty policies and guidelines to deliver end user and dealer acceptance.• Control cost effectively on all types of warranty claims.• Control suspense and debtors’ accounts effectively.• Approve and process warranty claims and payments.• Provide expert technical support for Warranty resolution.• Provide feedback on warranty issues to business.• Achieve warranty balance scorecard targets and KPI’s.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Qualified Artisan. [Mechanic in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) with minimum 3 years post-apprentice/learnership experience.• Applicable product knowledge. Basic financial management skills.• Sound business communication skills – managerial and technical report writing skill essential.• Sound interpersonal relationship skills.• Computer Literate (MS Office & SIS ET).Problem solving and failure analysis skills.• Warranty claim experience is an added advantage.• Sound interpersonal relationship skills;• Leadership Competencies;• Understanding of supplier warranty systems.• Sound understanding of Warranty policies & procedures;• Computer Literate.
