Futurex is seeking a talented individual to help us coordinate projects to enhance our suite of cryptographic devices. The role involves working with small agile project-based teams to extend and enhance features of the Futurex 'Hardened Enterprise Security Platform'. In this role, you’ll plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders. The position requires coordination between the business, engineering, quality assurance, support, and documentation teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with business stakeholders to determine the priorities of issues/projects and keeping projects aligned with their goals
- Working with engineering to understand the required resource allocations, timelines, and dependencies for issues/projects
- Determining what issues should go into the regularly scheduled releases
- Defining milestones and success criteria
- Creating long and short term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Coordinating release schedules with all stakeholders
- Adjusting schedules and targets on projects as needed
- Tracking and reporting progress on releases and projects
- Helping resolve 3rd party dependencies that are blocking engineering
- Coordinating external tasks related to software releases

Requirements
Required
- Professional, responsible, and organized
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Professional experience with the full software development life cycle
Strongly Prefer
- Previous experience in a project management role for a software solution
- Experience managing execution and high quality product delivery
- Experience using Jira for project management
- Technical experience with security and/or privacy
- Ability to be an influential member of a team composed of both technical and non-technical members
Preferred
- Experience with Linux
- Knowledge of cryptography concepts
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
