With a community size of over 2 million strong and an influential following, we are looking for a Social Media Coordinator who can execute a comprehensive social media strategy that energizes and grows our digital presence. This is an extremely exciting time for the company, and you'll play a big part in our growth.In this role, you will report to the Director of Global Social Media and collaborate with our Editorial, Creative, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to develop compelling, brand-right content that engages our community.

You will manage our brand presence by maintaining our social channels, identifying potential partners, participating in broader social conversations, and exploring new ways to drive sales and channel growth through social media. To succeed, you'll need social media awareness, creativit,y and a clear point of view. You will have experience managing a content calendar, executing on social strategy, social operations, and measuring success. 

What you’ll do


  • Collaborate with the Director of Global Social Media and the Social Media Content Lead to develop and manage ongoing calendars for all social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn - follow us!)
  • Execute all social media operations, including scheduling proactive and reactive content and community engagement across all channels, proper product tagging, linking back to  our website, etc.
  • Respond to customer inquiries while embodying the 1stDibs brand voice via all social channels. Identify and engage with key community members and potential ambassadors/influencers.
  • Assist in reporting organic social analytics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, such as post performance, audience growth, content engagement, conversio,n and more.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Creative, Editorial, Trade, and Seller teams to manage resources and feature requests and identify needs to develop on-trend original content

What you’ll bring


  • 1+ years of social media experience as a Community Manager or Social Media Coordinator
  • Fluency with social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn
  • A detail-oriented, adaptable, and creative nature, with a pulse on current trends and a passion for and understanding of the 1stDibs brand voice and audience
  • Flexibility to briefly check in on weekends as needed for social response and content updates

Not a requirement, but a huge plus!


  • Understanding of the design, luxury, and/or interiors space
  • Familiarity with Dash Social, Google Analytics, native social media platform insights, content production

Our overall compensation package is made of several parts, base compensation being one of them. At 1stDibs we value and are proud of our culture, innovation, professional development and training workshops, trust and giving back to the community.  Equity, a comprehensive benefits package, and incentive (IF APPLICABLE)  are all are components of your total compensation package.  Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.Tri-State Pay Range$22.50—$24.50 USD
