Trueline is seeking a Commercial Framing Materials Estimator to join their team in Madison.

What You'll Do as the Commercial Framing Materials Estimator:


  • Conduct building material take-offs for commercial designs
  • Review construction documents and understand materials for bidding
  • Prepare documentation for contractor proposals
  • Collaborate with sales representatives on structural aspects of plans
  • Assist in project management and sales processes
  • Maintain and enhance take-off software programs
  • Provide training to contractors on specifications and material use
  • Review actual vs. estimated materials upon project completion

Must-Haves as the Commercial Framing Materials Estimator:


  • 2+ years of experience as an estimator in residential or construction environments
  • Experience with structural, engineered wood, I-joist and engineered layouts
  • Experience performing building material take-offs for commercial/residential designs
  • Valid DL with clean driving record

Nice-To-Haves as the Commercial Framing Materials Estimator:


  • Experience as Commercial Framing Materials Estimator
  • BS in Architectural Design
