Trueline is seeking an Automation Assembly Technician to join their team in a dynamic production environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and construction of cutting-edge automation systems.

What You'll Do as the Automation Assembly Technician:

Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of custom automation projects
Interpret and work from mechanical and electrical blueprints
Collaborate with engineering and purchasing teams to maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs)
Support Automation Technicians in developing new automation systems
Assist in the construction of custom assembly automation equipment
Maintain precise time logging for projects
Contribute to various tasks that support the company's goals and objectives

Must-Haves as the Automation Assembly Technician:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education is preferred
Proficiency in electrical wiring and crimping, including experience with various wire gauges and cable assemblies
Skill in operating power tools and hand tools
Ability to read and interpret production job orders and bills of materials
Basic troubleshooting skills
Fundamental understanding of mechanical components, bearings, and pneumatic systems
Basic knowledge of electrical sensors, PLCs, motor drives, and vision systems
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work alongside technicians and engineers
Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
Willingness to travel for service calls or machine installations when needed

Nice-To-Haves as the Automation Assembly Technician:

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Advanced knowledge of pneumatic systems and components
Familiarity with automation industry standards and best practices
Experience with CAD software or 3D modeling tools
