cBEYONData is seeking a Business Analytics Consultant to support our Army client by designing and developing data models to support financial reporting. Note that this is a full time W2 position.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business to understand, analyze, and blueprint business functional needs in the system.
- Design new solutions using Databricks and Qlik to deliver capabilities meeting business functional requirements.
- Design modifications to existing data models solutions as needed to meet business functional requirements.
- Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions are functioning as designed.
- Build data models and reports using datasets from ERP’s and legacy systems.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and users to determine reporting requirements and convert business requirements into technical specs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Secret clearance required
- 4 year Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience using Databricks.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience coding in PySpark.
- Experience with developing reports and dashboards in Qlik is a plus.
- Experience working within Federal Accounting systems.
- Understand Business Intelligence concepts and ETL methodologies.
- Experience modeling data from Enterprise ERP’s (SAP preferred).
- Experience interacting directly with the end users to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills at any organizational level.
- Project experience with the ability to achieve team objectives/timelines.
- Ability to be self-directed in the completion of individual work assignments.
- Prior experience developing native HANA models preferred.
