UE is recruiting for a Senior Application Developer. Responsibilities and requirements are listed below. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis of business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex software solutions.
  • Provide support for business applications, assesses new solutions, and assists in identifying future needs by consulting with users and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Lead the integration of external APIs to expand application functionality and interoperability.
  • Analyze business needs, develop requirements, design, develop and test custom software solutions.
  • Provide user support for business applications; documenting solutions to complex issues; preparing reference for users by writing operating instructions.
  • Support software development needs, aiding with design and development.
  • Responsible for the primary support and management of assigned software solutions
  • Provide feedback and guidance to contribute to the development of both functional and technical specifications.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with various UE team members.
  • Maintain reference and support documentation for other developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in ASP.NET, web application development, and related technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned within area of responsibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Technology, or related field followed by 6 years of progressively responsible software development experience
  • 6 years of hands on.NET programming – C#.NET, ASP.NET and related .NET framework
  • 3 years of hands-on experience developing APIs utilizing Azure Framework
  • 6 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery and related modern scripting frameworks
  • 6 years of Microsoft SQL Server database experience writing stored procedures and SQL queries.
  • 4 years of experience working in MS Azure Cloud and related DevOps tools.
  • 3 years of experience with agile/scrum development methodology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of database modeling concepts to review table relationships. Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.

  • 401(k) — UE makes a 3% safe harbor non-elective contribution beginning the first of the month after date of hire; these funds are vested immediately. After one year of service, employees receive a 7% profit sharing non-elective contribution, as well as become eligible for a matched contribution of 25% of the first 5% employee deferral. Employees can make pre-tax contributions or taxed (Roth) salary reductions. Catch-up contributions for employees 50 years old and over. Employer contributions are fully vested three years from eligibility date.
  • Life Insurance — UE pays for Basic Life Insurance, and employees have the option to apply for additional Voluntary coverage.
  • Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance — We offer coverage in the event employees are unable to work for a period of time.
  • For the first two years of employment, employees accrue PTO at 24 days per year. At the beginning of the third year of service, employees accrue 30 days per year of PTO.
  • 11 paid holidays annually including Juneteenth and an employee choice floating holiday
  • Bonus eligibility is based on salary earned and performance for the year.
  • Hybrid environment - employees are typically in the office 2-3 days per week after the initial training period.

Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.

Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.Salary Range$129,500—$140,000 USD
