As a global company, MCRA handles a wide perspective of regulatory compliance challenges for our clients. The Intern will work closely with the Head of Compliance and receive tangible experience working with complex compliance matters such as analyzing risk, how to mitigate risk, and an opportunity to become proficient in the tools used in managing compliance programs. The Intern will also be responsible for researching a specific compliance topic and completing a presentation for MCRA leadership.
The Intern will be exposed to several areas of compliance relevant throughout the industry, including, but not limited to: ·Conflicts of Interest (COI), Gifts & Hospitality (G&H), Third-Party Contracts, Due Diligence, Anti-Kickback Statutes, Sunshine Act, Compliance Assessments, Risk Assessments, Policy Reviews and Drafting, Investigation Processes and Compliance Research The Intern will have direct involvement with client-facing services, including, but not limited to: ·Analyze anti-corruption and anti-kickback laws and present conclusions; ·Draft memos and opinions; ·Fulfilling requests for information for compliance assessments; ·Creating compliance presentations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing Pre-Law, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, Health Policy, or Economics
- Incoming juniors, seniors, and first- or second-year law students (preferred).
- Strong research skills, strong writing skills, proficient in document management and version control procedures.
Internship Program Details:
- Duration: 8 Weeks (June 2, 2025 – July 25, 2025).
- Hours: 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day (approx. 9:00am-3:00pm daily – specific schedules may vary).
- Location: DC-Based hybrid schedule
- A laptop and other required equipment will be provided.
$20 - $20 an hour
