Purpose of the Role:
The VP of Solution Engineering is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing technical sales activities, solution design, and enterprise customer engagements. This role ensures the seamless alignment of ContractPodAi AI-powered solutions with customer needs, driving technical excellence, product adoption, and business value. This position requires a leader who can operate at both strategic and execution levels—working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to craft compelling customer solutions.
The VP of Solution Engineering will drive scalable, repeatable pre-sales frameworks to support ContractPodAi rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Technical Sales Leadership
• Own technical sales activities within the sales process to build customer trust and accelerate deal closure. • Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities, understand customer pain points, and craft tailored AI-driven solutions. • Lead product demonstrations, executive briefings, and customer workshops showcasing the power of ContractPodAi CLM and Leah, our AI solution. • Define success criteria for Proof of Concepts (POCs) and ensure smooth execution.
• Develop and refine messaging, demo flows, and competitive positioning to enhance go-to-market efforts across various industries, sectors and personas. • Ensure the quality of demo environments, ensuring they accurately reflect industry-specific and vertical-specific use cases. • Serve as the technical lead for RFI/RFP responses and work with bid managers, ensuring compelling, differentiated proposals.
Scaling, Enablement & Industry Messaging and Use Cases
• Build and lead a high-performing Solution Engineering team, hiring, coaching, and developing top-tier talent. • Standardize pre-sales frameworks, ensuring repeatable and scalable success across customer engagements. • Develop internal and external enablement materials, equipping teams with the knowledge and tools needed to position our AI solutions effectively. • Lead internal and external enablement efforts, ensuring that sales, partners, and customers have the right tools, messaging, and training to maximize sales, adoption and impact.
• Build industry- and vertical-specific use cases to demonstrate the transformative power of ContractPodAi’s AI solutions for various sectors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Act as a bridge between Sales, Product, and Engineering, translating customer needs into formulated use cases to streamline processes. • Engage in executive-level conversations internally and externally to align strategic objectives with market and customer needs. • Participate in industry events and analyst relations initiatives to position ContractPodAi as a leader in AI-driven legal transformation.
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through technical sales and solution engineering. • Ability to navigate and influence Fortune 500 clients, government entities, and large enterprises. • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead both executive-level discussions and hands-on solution design. • 15+ years of experience in solution engineering, pre-sales, or technical customer success. • Deep expertise in AI-powered SaaS solutions, enterprise software implementations, and workflow automation.
• Legal Background and hands-on experience leading complex enterprise technology, particularly in legal tech, AI, or SaaS environments. • Experience in consulting, enterprise solution architecture, or professional services is a plus.
