Job Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated business units. The HRG serves as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. The role formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services that reflect the business objectives of the organization. This position is for our CDMX office but reports directly to the Human Resources Manager in CDMX.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partnering:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies to support them.
- Align HR initiatives with organizational objectives to drive performance and employee engagement.
- Provide strategic input on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
Payroll:
- Handling payroll and statutory reports and payments
- Implement compensation process and procedures to ensure equity
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programs.
- Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances with professionalism and sensitivity.
Talent Management and Development:
- Handle full cycle recruiting for the organization.
- Contribute to the recruitment and selection process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
- Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, fostering smooth transitions and positive employee engagement
- Identify training needs and partner with Learning & Development teams to design and implement programs.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with recruitment teams and hiring managers.
- Guide career development and performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Change Management:
- Lead change initiatives, including organizational restructures, role changes, and workforce transitions.
- Provide guidance on communication strategies and change management practices to minimize disruption.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
· Ensure employment records are kept up to date in the HRIS for Mexico-based personnel· Assist with HR reporting and audit requests.
- Utilize HR metrics to analyze trends and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare and present reports on key HR indicators such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and talent acquisition metrics.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies to comply with legal regulations and company standards.
- Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization.
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment for employees

- Develop and implement HR initiatives that support organizational objectives and promote a positive workplace culture
- Deploy assertive and timely communication towards leaders and collaborators
- Engage in professional interactions with business leaders to address HR challenges and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or strategic HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Mexico.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics is preferred.
- English proficiency, ability to write, read and speak in a business environment.
