The Task At-Hand: 
The Cost Accountant oversees financial data and cost management across multiple warehouse locations and co-manufacturers, reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager. This role focuses on analyzing and tracking operational costs, inventory, and production expenses to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost reports, monitoring multiple warehouse inventory, reconciling inventory records, and identifying cost-reduction opportunities. The Cost Accountant collaborates with internal and external parties to maintain consistent accounting practices, conducts regular audits, and ensures compliance with financial policies.Who You Are: This individual will bring 3-5 years of experience in managing financial data and overseeing cost management across multiple warehouse locations.

Reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, this individual will specialize in analyzing operational costs, inventory, and production expenses to drive accuracy, efficiency, and margin. With a keen eye for detail, this person will prepare comprehensive cost reports, monitor and reconcile multi-site inventory records, and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Collaborating with internal and external individuals to ensure consistent accounting practices, conducts regular audits, and upholds compliance with financial policies.

Leveraging strong analytical skills, extensive experience in multi-site operations, and proficiency in accounting software, playing a pivotal role in optimizing financial performance and supporting operational success. In This Role You Will: ●           Oversee Financial Data and Cost Management: Manage and monitor financial data related to costs across multiple warehouse locations and co-manufacturing operations. ●           Analyze Operational Costs: Track and evaluate operational costs, including inventory, overhead, and production expenses, to ensure accuracy and optimize efficiency. ●           Prepare Detailed Cost Reports: Create comprehensive reports summarizing cost data and financial performance for leadership review. ●           Monitor Multi-Warehouse Inventory: Supervise inventory tracking systems across various warehouse sites to ensure real-time accuracy. ●           Reconcile Inventory Records: Align inventory records with actual stock levels and financial data to maintain consistency. ●           Identify Cost-Reduction Opportunities: Analyze processes and financial data to recommend actionable strategies for reducing costs without compromising quality or efficiency. ●           Collaborate with Internal and External Parties: Work closely with stakeholders, including warehouse teams, co-manufacturers, and accounting staff, to ensure consistent accounting practices and data integrity. ●           Conduct Regular Audits: Perform periodic reviews of financial and inventory records to verify accuracy and adherence to established standards. ●           Ensure Compliance: Maintain alignment with company financial policies, industry regulations, and best practices. ●           Provide regular updates, actionable insights, and detailed reports to the Senior Accounting Manager to support strategic decision-making.Must Haves●           Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.●           Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or similar role, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing or warehouse environment with responsibility for managing financial data and overseeing cost management.●           Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, or tools like Excel for data analysis and reporting.Compensation:Full-Time, Salaried ($85,000.00 - $105,000.00), Exempt.
