PeopleConnect is looking for a 
Senior SEO Specialist to play a key role in optimizing and growing the organic search presence of our People Search brands, including TruthFinder, Intelius, Instant Checkmate, and OmniWatch. Reporting to the Senior SEO Manager, this role will be responsible for implementing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to drive traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance user experience.Sound interesting? Key Responsibilities (not limited to):


On-Page & Technical SEO Execution


  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Optimize meta tags, headers, internal linking, and site structure to improve search visibility.
  • Identify opportunities for structured data (schema markup) to enhance SERP features.
  • Support site architecture enhancements to improve crawlability, indexation, and ranking potential.
  • Monitor Core Web Vitals and collaborate with developers on technical SEO improvements.
  • Assist in A/B testing for landing page optimization (LPO) to improve conversions.

SEO Content Strategy & Collaboration


  • Work closely with the content team to ensure pages are optimized for search intent and user engagement.
  • Provide SEO recommendations for new content creation and existing content improvements.
  • Help manage content updates and optimizations based on SEO performance data.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building


  • Assist in executing link-building campaigns, securing high-quality backlinks from authoritative sources.
  • Monitor and analyze backlink profiles, identifying opportunities to improve domain authority.

SEO Performance Tracking & Reporting


  • Track and report on organic traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, STAT, and Ahrefs.
  • Monitor algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct SEO audits and provide actionable insights to improve performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Work with Product, Martech, and Engineering teams to implement SEO best practices.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, data-driven manner.
  • Support the Senior SEO Manager in developing and executing SEO initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

What We’re Looking For


  • 3+ years of SEO experience, preferably with large-scale websites.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO.
  • Experience with structured data, schema markup, and SEO for mobile.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to stay up to date on algorithm changes, ranking factors, and industry trends.
