Role: Sales Development Representative
Reporting to: Head of RevenueLocation: Virtual but ideally positioned in US Southwest Central or Eastern Timezones

About this RoleAs the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, are great at starting new relationships, and setting our Sales Leaders up for success.
Successful SDR’s are quick learners with effective communication skills and can display Thentia’s offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability, as well as generate commissions and/or incentives to achieve personal performance goals.Responsibilities
- Act on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and generate cold call leads to qualify and build customer relationships.
- Research and qualify new potential sales outlets to enable new growth markets
- Represent Thentia’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
- Manage a pipeline of MQLs interested prospects and engage sales executives for the next steps.
- Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
- Utilize LinkedIn, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads to sales opportunities.
- Attend Thentia and Partner marketing events as an ambassador of Thentia. Engage with prospects and prequalify potential leads for the territory account executives
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
- Report to sales leadership with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ years of software as a service (SaaS) or solution oriented Outbound Sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
- Ideal, but not essential is experience serving SLED, Public Sector, Regulatory and/or Government Agencies
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Pipedrive or Zendesk
- Proven sales experience with a record of accomplishment achieving sales quotas or assigned targets for meetings, demos, qualified leads.
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Growth oriented mindset and ability to move up within a sales organization.
