Your Role and Impact
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Writer to simplify highly technical documents and training materials that include: SDK and API documentation, code samples, and other technical content for HYPR's innovative True Passwordless MFA platform. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and experience creating high-quality documentation for an audience of application developers and integrators. You've worked in Agile environments before and enjoy collaborating with software developers, quality engineers, and product managers.
HYPR is a small but rapidly growing company, and this job will provide the opportunity to work on new products and influence software design.
Your Role and Impact
- Plan, write, and maintain SDK, API and training documentation
- Create and test code examples to support the documentation
- Work with the Customer Support and Field Engineering teams to analyze and address customers' documentation needs
- Work with the Product Management, Development, and QA teams to give feedback and influence software design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Technical Writing or Computer Science
- 5-10 years of software documentation experience
- Strong technical aptitude and a proven passion for writing elegant, concise, accurate documentation for developer-level audiences
- Experience creating code examples for Android or iOS mobile applications using Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, etc.
- Excellent writing skills and a broad understanding of technical writing practices
- Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, direct, and active style
- Capacity to learn quickly, work independently, and handle multiple projects
- Previous experience working in an Agile start-up environment
- Familiarity with the Identity Access Management industry is a plus
