Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This role is responsible for driving strategic financial initiatives, optimizing financial processes, and providing key insights to senior leadership. The Finance Manager will oversee a Senior Financial Analyst and play a pivotal role in forecasting, budgeting, and financial decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and profitability
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial discipline and optimize resource allocation
- Oversee and mentor the Senior Financial Analyst, ensuring high-quality financial analysis and reporting
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations
- Support ad-hoc financial projects, business case development, and investment analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Other Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- High level of attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical mindset
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with advanced financial modeling software (e.g., Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI) and proficiency in other analytics platforms
- MBA or CPA
