Content Writer/Editor to join our award-winning team to support our People Search division. This position reports to the Content Manager for PeopleConnect.   • Editorial Content Creation and Management:
  • Strategic Content Planning: Develop and execute content strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring messaging supports marketing initiatives, SEO objectives, and audience needs
  • Writes, edits, and repurposes copy for the company's various web properties and communications channels, including social media and landing pages, and email marketing, with particular attention to Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Edits copy to ensure proper grammar, logical structure, and correct style for the intended audience
  • Identifies appropriate forms of content to push out to particular audiences (e.g., blogs, social media)
  • Oversees timely production of new content by working with the marketing team and managing a network of freelancers to refresh existing content
  • Editing content produced by others to ensure appropriate style, clarity, messaging, and adherence to SEO and other contemporary standards
  • Contributes to the management of the company's editorial calendar, meeting regularly with the marketing leads to identify stories and other content pieces
  • Assists in evaluating existing content and audiences, redesigning and/or conceptualizing new content and vehicles as part of a larger strategy
  • Publishes new content using the company CMS platform
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • BA degree or higher in English or Journalism preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of high-volume editorial experience in a digital marketing environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, plus strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work with minimal supervision and complete scheduled tasks on time
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, often under tight deadlines
  • Outstanding written English skills with detailed attention to accuracy and documentation of sources
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate respectfully with team members
  • Experience with keyword research, SEO best practices, and content marketing platforms like SEMRush, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Pitchbox
  • Strong business acumen
