OmniWatch is scaling rapidly, and we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Engineering Manager (Full-Stack) to lead our growing development team and reports to our SVP of Engineering. Who We’re Looking For:


OmniWatch is growing rapidly, and we’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Engineering Manager (Full-Stack) to lead and scale our engineering team while ensuring the technical foundation of our identity protection SaaS platform is secure, scalable, and high-performing. This role is critical to driving engineering excellence, optimizing team performance, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative and secure digital solutions. The role we’re aiming at requires both management and technical capacityAs a technical leader with deep experience in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and software development, you will oversee engineering execution, mentor talent, and drive process efficiencies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You’ll also manage both in-house and external engineering teams, ensuring they deliver high-quality solutions on time and aligned with OmniWatch’s strategic roadmap. What You’ll Do (but not limited to):


Engineering Strategy & Technical Leadership:


  • Help define and execute OmniWatch’s technology vision, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability as the company grows.
  • Work closely with other technical leaders to ensure alignment of standards and best practices between OmniWatch and other products.
  • Participate in architectural decision-making, ensuring our SaaS platform is able to meet the anticipated needs of an evolving product while maintaining high availability, performance, and security.
  • Drive engineering best practices, including smart budgeting of complexity, secure coding, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimizations.
  • Work hands-on with front-end and back-end engineers to maintain an intimate familiarity with the code and systems behind OmniWatch, provide additional capacity, and help investigate issues.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in identity protection.
  • Proactively monitor system health and performance metrics, ensuring correctness, high uptime and reliability.

Team Leadership & Development:


  • Create a high-performance engineering culture, emphasizing collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Retain and engage team members by providing clear career progression paths and opportunities for skill development.
  • Manage external engineering partners and offshore development teams, ensuring they deliver quality work on schedule.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop top engineering talent, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.

Project Execution & Delivery Management:


  • Develop technical project workplans and work closely with the product team in roadmap development and resource planning.
  • Oversee project timelines and execution, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of engineering initiatives.
  • Work closely with Product, Compliance, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and security protocols.
  • Support agile development processes, working with program and product managers in optimizing sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early, ensuring smooth project execution and minimal disruptions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Alignment:


  • Partner with Finance & Growth teams to align engineering investments with revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Work with Marketing & Product teams to ensure engineering execution supports customer acquisition, retention, and engagement goals.
  • Collaborate with external partners to integrate new technologies and expand product capabilities.

Measuring Success & Continuous Improvement:


  • Manage key engineering KPIs, including sprint velocity, uptime, system performance, and security compliance.
  • Continuously optimize development processes, improving efficiency, code quality, and speed-to-market.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in distributed systems, SaaS architecture, or related.
  • 2+ years of engineering leadership experience, managing in-house and external development teams.
  • Expertise writing and reviewing TypeScript and modern javascript, and deep familiarity with modern web technology across the stack from the data layer (particularly SQL) to basic networking concepts to front-end patterns/frameworks (particularly react).
  • Strong expertise in service oriented architectures, REST and GraphQL API’s, cloud platforms (GCP in particular, AWS or Azure), container-based deployments (k8s, etc) and security best practices.
  • Experience managing external engineering partners and offshore teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, able to navigate ambiguity and drive strategic technical decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization, including executives.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and data security standards.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership over projects, systems, and outcome.
