We’re hiring a Distribution Manager in Denver!


The Distribution Manager is responsible for managing the distribution of items to stores each morning and ensuring that drivers and store general managers are delivering and receiving products in a timely and efficient manner. As the Distribution Manager, you are responsible for supporting Call Your Mother’s high operational standards by continuing to hold yourself and your team members to the provided clear communication between commissary teams, driving teams, and store operation. You must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Your core responsibilities will be:

  • Managing the driving team each night, clearly communicating product deliveries throughout the shift
  • Completing daily packing list for commissary to store transfers of prepared items
  • Assisting the baking team in sorting, packing, and organizing deliveries
  • Working with baking team and prep team to ensure stores are receiving quality products
  • Ensuring and all prepared goods needs are met for each store in full
  • Updating packing sheets and store transfer databases as needed
  • Running deliveries with the driving team and ensure proper drop off/fulfillment at each retail location
  • Ensuring completion of all applicable driver/regulatory documentation
  • Maintaining communication with store managers, commissary manager, and supply chain manager as needed to ensure all products are prepped and delivered
  • Having a complete knowledge of vehicle operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Managing vehicle maintenance and services
  • Managing the relationship with vehicle leasing vendors
  • Being responsible for future route planning and other logistical efficiencies
  • Leading and manage the growth and performance of the driver team as the market grows.
  • Managing a cross-functional relationship between Commissary leadership, and Logistics leadership in other CYM markets to ensure best practices and clear communication.

You’ll be a great addition to the CYM team if you:

  • Able to work across departments and communication platforms
  • Are a minimum of 25 years old
  • Exhibit the ability and desire to learn and improve in their position
  • Exhibit leadership skills and ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must believe in a hands-on supervising style and be willing to lead by example
  • Proficient written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with computer programs, or willing to learn
  • Driver’s License and at least 1-year clean driving record or written explanation
  • Ability to work late/overnight hours, including weekends and some holidays
  • Clear communicator and quick problem solver
  • Treats others with kindness and respect
  • Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Spanish speaking a plus!
