The Weave Corporate Strategy team is integral in helping Weave’s C-Team & executive leadership craft our corporate strategy and then execute it. The Strategy team focuses on 4 key areas: (1) Run “BizOps” (internal consulting) efforts focused on improving internal operations (2) Develop Weave’s Strategy Plan (3) Identify & Launch into New Markets (4) M&A
Approximately 50% of bandwidth will be leading internal consulting efforts (supporting our Revenue, Partnerships, and Product teams), 50% will be supporting other strategy team responsibilities (strategy planning, market intelligence, new markets, etc)
- This position will be hybrid based out of our Lehi, UT HQ
- Reports to: Sr. Director of Strategy

What You Will Own
- (1) Run “BizOps” / Internal Consulting Efforts
- Lead strategy & execution projects supporting our Chief Revenue Officer, VP of Partnerships, Chief Product Officer,, and other departments (as needed)
- Develop effective revenue growth strategies (ex: how to grow Weave’s payments business, how to test new pricing models / partnerships, etc.)
- Analyze internal business practices with the goal of determining bottle-necks to providing effective operations. Provide executive-level recommendations on how we can improve & optimize
- (2) Define Weave’s Strategy Plan
- Develop Weave’s 3-year Strategy Model (Vision, Values, Focus Areas, Objectives, KPIs, Major Initiatives)
- Build response plans for specific competitors and market trends
- Analysis of Weave’s strategic position (ex: using SWOT or other strategy frameworks)
- Assist the CEO & C-Team in running key leadership meetings & workshops (ex: C-team offsites, Board meetings, etc..)
- (3) Identify & Launch into New Markets
- Identify new markets, conduct initial research and help align resources across Weave to launch new into new industries and/or international expansions
- (4) M&A
- Identify acquisition targets
- Perform due diligence on potential merger & acquisition targets
What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job
- 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or related field
- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in a quantitative field (STEM)
- Strategy Experience: familiar with strategy frameworks and helping an organization craft a thoughtful 1-3 year strategy
- Strong analytical skills: Should possess familiarity with common data tools (Excel, Domo/Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, etc…). Has the ability to make complex data “simple & insightful” for others.
- Strong “executive presence”: Ability to prepare and deliver persuasive, data-driven arguments and presentations to senior management (including VP & C-Team levels). Should be comfortable building executive quality PowerPoint & “1-page memos” to deliver analysis & recommendations.
- “What’s Best for Weave” mindset: Candidates need to be skilled in navigating competing interests from various stakeholders and diplomatically resolving issues.
- Team Player: Our strategy team is small & operates with a high degree of trust. Must be able to work well independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: Frequently works on solving issues with no known solutions or prior examples. Able to break complex problems down into manageable parts.
- Hyper organized: Extremely strong project management and organizational habits & skill-set
- Flexible: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team; able to handle strict/changing deadlines + shifting priorities
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
What Will Make Us Love You
- 1+ years of SaaS experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience with financial modeling (preferred but not required)
