The Role


Kikoff is looking for a Director of Product Management to shape and execute the product strategy for our suite of financial wellness solutions. This high-visibility role will spearhead innovative, consumer-first products that empower underserved Americans to build credit and achieve their financial goals. As the Director of Product Management, you'll work with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists to define and build impactful products. You must be able to help define strategies for complex areas and lead teams from ideation to measurable product impact while navigating ambiguity and driving meaningful solutions for our customers.

Director of Product Management Responsibilities


- Drive strategy and execution for high-priority product initiatives that align with Kikoff's mission of financial inclusion and wellness - Lead strategic initiatives that cut across multiple product teams, communicating with inspiration and motivation - Direct the evolution of Kikoff's product roadmap to meet customer needs and business objectives - Create structure, success metrics, and criteria for evaluating product success - Take direction from leadership regarding key objectives, but architect a comprehensive product strategy to achieve successful outcomes - Advise and mentor product leaders as they execute against the roadmap and drive measurable results - Champion deep consumer empathy across the organization and foster a culture of user-centered decision making - Build, grow, and retain top product talent within the organization - Collaborate, navigate, and influence across the organization and with external partners - Drive the discovery process to form a deep understanding of our users and uncover products and features that will best empower consumers - Reach beyond instinct alone to capture and analyze the right data to allow for informed decision-making - Champion your products within your team, across the company, and with consumers

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications


- 10+ years of experience in product management with at least 5+ years leading and growing product teams - 7+ years of experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders - Experience running executive-level reviews and shaping the evolution of a company's product strategy - Proven track record of thinking through tough problems and building innovative solutions - Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to make business decisions - Experience managing and scaling product organizations - Demonstrated success in building consumer-focused financial products - Experience working in fast-paced startup environments

Preferred Qualifications


- Experience in fintech or consumer financial services - Experience building 0-1 products that have achieved product-market fit - Experience in driving financial inclusion initiatives - Track record of building products that solve deeply personal financial problems - History of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, operations, and leadership

Compensation


Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience: - $300k - $340k base + equity Regular team building events to help you get to know the Kikoff team and so much more!
