They will be responsible for performing spatial queries, data visualization, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This role provides an opportunity to apply and develop GIS skills in a dynamic environment while collaborating with a team of geospatial professionals. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization's geospatial operations, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support the continuous improvement of geospatial methodologies.
Your mission:
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of spatial data.
- Effective analysis and communication of geospatial insights.
- Active participation in team discussions and problem-solving initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless data integration.
- Completing assigned tasks within deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
It will be a match if you are or have:
- A degree in GIS or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience using GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS.
- Experience with spatial queries and geospatial data visualisation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Desired
- Knowledge of geospatial databases (PostGIS, SQL) and topology concepts.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for GIS automation.
- Understanding of maritime or transportation-related geospatial analysis.
