Essential Functions:


As the Product Design Lead, you will:

  • Shape user experiences: Define how our solutions work for users at every touchpoint, not just how they look.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design with business goals and user needs.
  • Balance design disciplines: Integrate information architecture (IA), interaction design, and visual design to create cohesive, user-centered solutions.
  • Own the design process: Lead design from concept to final deliverables, including wireframes, low- and high-fidelity mockups, and detailed design specifications for development.
  • Facilitate design collaboration: Lead design sprints, workshops, and brainstorming sessions that inspire innovation and foster a shared understanding across teams.
  • Drive research efforts: Oversee both generative and evaluative research to gather insights that inform design decisions and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Iterate rapidly: Quickly prototype, test, and refine designs based on evolving requirements, feedback, and research findings.
  • Write user stories: Contribute to creating clear, actionable user stories that align design work with product development.
  • Communicate design rationale: Clearly explain and advocate for design decisions, balancing user needs with business objectives.
  • Champion exceptional user experiences: Advocate for the user at every stage of product development, ensuring that every design choice supports intuitive, delightful, and efficient user interactions.

What We're Looking For:


  • Proven experience as a Product Design Lead or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing a strong focus on user-centered design and customer satisfaction.
  • Expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design, with an emphasis on delivering seamless, user-friendly experiences.
  • Extensive experience conducting and applying user research to inform design decisions and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with the ability to rapidly prototype and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the customer across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing multiple design projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality designs within deadlines.
  • A passion for understanding users and creating products that enhance their lives, driving positive customer outcomes.

Required Education and Experience


  • 5+ years product design experience
  • Experience with mobile and responsive design
  • Experience with writing stories for development team to execute on
  • Passion for user-centered design
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to support UX research
  • Fintech experience is a bonus
  • Bachelor's Degree in interaction design, HCI, Psychology, CS, or related concentration
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
