Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled Requirements Evaluation & Design (RED) Team Lead to manage the evaluation and design processes for technical projects within the DoD IT environment. The RED Team Lead will oversee project execution, manage resources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all design and evaluation activities align with business objectives and DoD standards.  

What You Will Do:


  • Lead and manage the Requirements Evaluation & Design team to support the design and development of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). 
  • Evaluate and design solutions in line with business needs, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and regulations. 
  • Oversee and ensure that all ECPs requirements are developed and delivered in a timely manner. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to define project scope, timelines, and resources. 
  • Lead the team in making strategic decisions under pressure to meet project goals. 
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the RED team members. 
  • Create and maintain project documentation to ensure clear and effective communication with stakeholders. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the success of the projects. 
  • Demonstrate expertise in risk management, cost estimation, and project execution. 

Requirements

What We Need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer sciences, business management, or related field.  
  • Minimum five (5) years as a Lead Project Manager. 
  • Minimum five (5) years in DoD IT environment. 
  • Strong decision-making skills, particularly under pressure. 
  • Outstanding mathematics and IT abilities. 
  • Proficient in preparing detailed cost estimate reports. 
  • Proficient in relevant software tools including MS Office. 
  • Proven self-management and team-management skills. 
  • Must possess expert managerial, leadership, and communication skills. 

Certifications:


  •  Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).  

Clearance Level:


Active Secret Clearance.
