Description:
- Perform end to end management of disconnected network enclave for the team including network engineering, Linux Systems Administration, technical implementation of STE/STN requirements, IAVA patching, and system security plans (SSPs) accreditation processes.
Requirements:
- Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Linux automation, setup, hardening, to include meeting CS2/STIG and STE requirements
- Scripting ability
- Familiarity with customers Information Systems (IS) accreditation and RMF processes, as well as familiarity with STE/STN requirements and policy
- Configure and optimized restricted networks to connect various front and back-end components
- Experience managing, configuring, patching network devices (switches, firewalls, VTC, router) and infrastructure, Cisco preferred
Desired:
- ElasticSearch management
- Graylog (preferred) or Splunk configuration, design and implementation experience
- Ansible system management (Windows, Linux and Cisco)
- Nagios, Zabibix, Grafana, or other FOSS system monitoring design and implementation
