We are comprised of a team of artists, engineers, event producers, fabricators and creative thinkers. We have worked all over the United States completing thousands of projects in the field of creative multimedia shows for clients such as Rihanna, Jay Z, Tiesto, Lady Gaga, American Idol, America’s Got Talent and multiple professional sports franchises in the NFL, NBA and NHL.
We have also created permanent and temporary interactive installations for world class venues including the Staples Center, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Smithsonian Institutions and Walt Disney World. The Senior Mechanical Design Drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans used in the manufacturing and construction of mechanical components and systems. They work closely with engineers, designers, and manufacturers to ensure that products are designed accurately and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor to create 2D and 3D models of mechanical components
- Prepare detailed drawings, assemblies, that include dimensions, materials, per CADD standards
- Work with mechanical engineers to Illustrate design concepts into technical drawings while ensuring feasibility and compliance
- Select appropriate materials and design features based on cost, weight, durability, and manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and injection molding
- Update designs based on feedback from engineers, clients, or manufacturers, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant industry codes, regulations, and company standards
- Assist in prototype development by providing necessary technical drawings and collaborating with production teams
- Administration of Project Data Management System

- 8+ Years Experience in CAD Drafting Position
- Strong Proficiency in CAD software ( SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.)
- Revit experience a plus
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ISO, ANSI)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant experience or certification in mechanical drafting
Salary Description$85,000 - $95,000 per year
