Event Marketing Manager

Pendo is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Events Manager to support the execution of our branded corporate events. This role will play a key part in bringing our user conference and branded events to life, ensuring that each event creates a memorable and impactful experience that aligns with our brand and strengthens engagement across the entire customer lifecycle.
In addition to event planning and execution, this role will be responsible for sponsorship sales. This role will help develop the sponsorship prospectus, identify and engage potential sponsors, manage negotiations, and ensure sponsors have a seamless experience leading up to and during the event.The ideal candidate is extremely organized, thinks outside of the box, and experienced in producing memorable brand experiences and interactions through in-person events. This person has strong project management skills, is able to juggle multiple workstreams at once, and can collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

This person is eager to push the boundaries of what a corporate event can be, while ensuring flawless execution and alignment with company objectives. 

Role Responsibilities:


  • Support in planning, coordinating, and executing several of Pendo’s branded events, which may include Pendomonium and Pendomonium roadshow style events
  • Develop and manage project plans, overseeing timelines, budgets, and logistics to guarantee seamless and impactful execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure event alignment with business goals and company objectives
  • Assist in designing and executing creative, immersive event experiences that leave a lasting impact
  • Own sponsorship sales and serve as the main point of contact for sponsors, ensuring fulfillment of sponsorship deliverables and a seamless experience
  • Support pre-event promotional efforts and post-event follow-up strategies to maximize event engagement and attendee satisfaction
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee event logistics
  • Represent the company on-site at events, ensuring seamless execution and a best-in-class attendee experience

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in event management and sponsorship sales, ideally within a B2B, SaaS, or a similarly dynamic and high-growth environment
  • Experience creating unique brand experiences and engagement opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Adaptable and composed in fast-paced environments, showing a high degree of problem-solving skills, initiative and resourcefulness
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and sustain relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
  • Experience in sponsorship sales and partnership management
  • Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Creative mindset with a passion for experiential marketing
  • Background in the B2B SaaS industry, with an understanding of its unique event and audience engagement dynamics
  • High-level proficiency in Google Suite, Salesforce, and Cvent, with an aptitude for using these tools to optimize event planning and execution

Compensation


Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.The expected base salary range for this role in the following location is: Raleigh, NC is $85,700 - $107,100San Francisco, CA is $98,500 - $123,200New York City, NY is $90,000 - $112,500Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.#UShubs#LI-KW1
